Getting Started
DiaspoCare connects African diaspora supporters with healthcare infrastructure in Africa. Sign up free at diaspocare.ai/register. Currently piloting in Nyandarua County, Kenya.
Wallets & Payments
A health wallet is a purpose-locked fund for verified healthcare. You can contribute by card.
What if my family doesn't use the funding?
Healthcare funding can only be used for care booked through DiaspoCare. It can't be withdrawn as cash or sent to a bank or mobile money account. If you no longer need it, we refund the unspent amount to your original payment method on request.
Screenings & Care
The kiosk can record: Blood Pressure, Blood Glucose, Weight + BMI, Peak Flow (asthma), Kidney Function (eGFR). Currently in Nyandarua County, Kenya.
Chronic Care Management
DiaspoCare covers ongoing management for hypertension, diabetes, kidney disease, asthma, and dialysis. Enrollment is through our Community Health Worker network — a CHW visits your family, verifies the condition, and enrolls them in a condition plan. Once enrolled, medication, care visits, and adherence check-ins (at 3 and 12 months) are funded from the same wallet and tracked in the same ledger. Supporter self-service enrollment rolls out in 2027. The pilot runs in Nyandarua County, Kenya, expanding to Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Tanzania.
