Step 1: You contribute

Choose your wallet type, pick a currency, and contribute. Your contribution is recorded as healthcare funding and can only be used for care booked through DiaspoCare. Unspent funding is refunded to your original payment method on request. Currency conversion uses DiaspoCare's published rate.

Step 2: Your family books care

Family members book care at any hPod screening unit or partner clinic. Booking uses the healthcare funding available.

Step 3: Care is delivered

hPod operators or clinic providers deliver care. Each care payment is recorded in the ledger with how it is split (consumables, facility, cost recovery and DiaspoCare operations).

Step 4: You see the ledger

Real-time dashboard shows every wallet event. Every care payment, every contribution tracked. Downloadable receipts for your records.

Step 5: Ongoing care for chronic conditions

For conditions that need long-term management — hypertension, diabetes, kidney disease, asthma, dialysis — your family can be enrolled in a condition plan by a Community Health Worker. Medication and care visits pay from the wallet you fund. A 3-month adherence check confirms the plan is working; a 12-month milestone confirms sustained care. Currently enrollment is CHW-driven.
